• Download some existing data from OSM using Download data on the File menu or the download button . If you have questions during your very first edit, the Introduction (en) page will assist you.

Getting Help

• Online help: Help on the Help menu or press F1 as required to get context sensitive help. Open Help (en) now.
• Join the ​forum or ask at ​help.openstreetmap.org

• 2025-05-18 weeklyOSM: The weekly round-up of OSM news, issue ​#773, is now available.

  • Added language Faroese
  • Improved photo mapping
• 2025-03-30 (stable version 19369)
  • Languages Greek and Danish now completely translated. Esperanto has been added. Only minor progress for other incomplete languages.

  • New language variant Canadian English added and Australian English and Norwegian completed. Some progress for other languages.
