#24190 new defect

inconsistent structure of action help pages (page title etc.)

Reported by: HeiKue Owned by: team
Priority: normal Milestone:
Component: Wiki content Version:
Keywords: action help Cc:

Description

The usual structure at the top of the action help page is:

  • page title: menu name > action name (e.g. Edit > Undo)
  • icon and keyboard shortcut
  • bold formatted short description, which probably corresponds (should correspond) to the tool tip
  • further description (normal formatted)

Here an example of usual structure:

Edit > Undo

source:trunk/resources/images/undo.svg Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Z

Undo the last action.

The source:trunk/resources/images/dialogs/commandstack.svg Command Stack panel contains a detailed list of all edits with the option to undo/redo several actions at once.

This (and maybe more) pages have not this structure:

If there is general agreement, I could check all action help pages and standardise them if necessary.
