In the Preferences Window there are seven main default groups:
 | Display Settings |
 | Connection Settings - configure the API URL of the OSM server, how to authenticate, and whether to use a proxy |
 | Map Settings |
 | Plugins |
 | Toolbar Customization |
 | Audio |
 | Advanced Preferences |
Other groups may be added according to which plugins you have installed:
- WMS
- Validator
