Hi,
the wiki allows to map natural=valley and natural=fell as nodes, but the JOSM validator flags them as errors.

You can make the patch for the changes yourself. See wiki:DevelopersGuide/PatchGuide for how to make patches and wiki:"Source code" for getting the source code.
With that said, I'm not certain how useful natural=valley
is as a node. I can see arguments for natural=fell
being useful as a node, but it seems like it would be much more useful as an area.
See #10679 and #11223. Klumbumbus might remember why they have warnings; I think they are there because, while using a node is a valid mapping method, the tags generally aren't as useful if they are mapped as nodes.
Using nodes to represent areas can lead to some ambiguities, like where is the center of the area, what are the boundaries of the area, what is the best way to enter the actual area (instead of getting as close as possible to the node), and so on.
Something to keep in mind is that wording is important. Should be used on a <way|area>.
is not the same as Must be used on a <way|area>.
Is there a way I can push this edits myself? If yes could someone explain it to me?
