Adding "Invert selection" to the selection menu sounds a reasonable enhancement. Probably limited to expert users though.

According to the shortcuts list, Ctrl+BackSpace is still available.

My opinion: Not every action needs a shortcut. Especially expert users can assign shortcuts themselves for the most used actions.

The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.
