Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+V

Paste the contents of the clipboard,
at the mouse pointer position into the active data layer:

• all nodes and parent objects will be preserved as they were selected (relative position is kept)
• links in the data (node-way and way-relation, node-relation) will be respected but only if they were selected; cloned objects will have (new) links similar to copied objects

If you want to paste an object at its source position (e.g. from another layer or another JOSM instance) use Paste at source position
