Description
add a two node way, hit alt+a. add a tag.
tag is added to the way.
notice the tag value being wrong - doubleclick it, fix it.
it is applied both to the way and to the last node in the way. should only be applied to the way.

This problem is quite old. Sorry, always, did forget to report but I have to check the proper steps to reproduce.

Ok I think I get it: when you say "add a two node way", you mean you don't finish to draw the way (either by double-clicking or pressing Escape) before hitting alt-a ? If I'm still drawing the way, I am able to reproduce this problem.

well, yes - i guess i'm not "drawing a way" in the software sense, although i'm not drawing it as a user anymore, i'm adding tags to it now ;)

ok thanks, got it !
Works for me, cannot reproduce. Are you sure a step is not missing in your description ?
