Description
Recently, key "informal" got added to the "path" properties dialogue. The German translation reads "inoffiziell" - This is not true: while an informal path by definition is inofficial, this does not hold the other way around, there are lots of inofficial things, that are not informal ones.
The iD editor calls its preset that turns on the informal flag "Trampelpfad". This is more of a step from a word-wise translation, but it conveys the meaning quite easy to understand and is still much closer to the documentation than "inofficial" in the context of paths.
Please change the German translation, "Trampelpfad" preferred, otherwise "informell", as word for word.

Hello Don, I changed launchpad item 5559 to make the string "informal"in the dialogue about path properties read "Trampelpfad". The system did suggest "informell" as a single click option, but I took the other, because in the context of paths, this corresponds much more to how the term is used in the OSM community (forums, changeset comments & such). Hope, this will not appear out of context.

Hello Don, I recently corrected the translation of "stream", as it spelled "Fluss" (which is river) in waterway relations. Perhaps add to milestone?
Hi,
The translation are made by the JOSM community, not by the JOSM developers (personally I can't help you as I don't speak German).
See Translations. Would you mind to create a Launchpad account and fix the translation by yourself? :)
