Measured Values Panel

The Measured values panel shows

• the length of the current measured path,
• the length, area and radius of the selection and
• the direction of the segment last drawn or selected.

The Measured values panel belongs to the Measurements plugin. It is activated via the Windows menu, this button or the shortcut Ctrl+Shift+U.

A path can be measured in the Measurement mode. This path is independently of any map objects. The cursor changes to a cross, indicating measuring mode. Click on the start point and go on with the next points of the path. A measurement layer is opened upon the first click and line segments are shown between the points of the path.

Reset

Clears the measurement layer.
