Why does JOSM no longer mark the boundary of the area downloaded with hash bars?

Description

I almost positive JOSM used to mark the boundary of the downloaded area with hash bars. Now the it doesn't, I accidentally added duplicate objects which were not displayed because they were outside the downloaded area. Can this feature be restored so we don't accidentally stray outside the downloaded boundary? I am not suggesting that objects not be uploaded if they are outside this displayed boundary because I do that often, especially with very large ways. Thank you, Harrison

Status: new → closed

View -> Draw boundaries of downloaded data.

Modify Ticket

Change Properties
Set your email in Preferences
Action
as closed The owner will remain team.
as The resolution will be set.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.

Add Comment
E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences .
