Description (last modified by )
When modifying a ticket to needinfo, the reporter's email is visible, which conflicts with the new ticket header (or entering your e-mail address below (it won't be publicly visible but will allow us to reach you, and you will be notified about ticket progress). )
Steps to reproduce:
1) Create a new ticket using an email instead of a username (i.e., when not logged in)
2) Modify the ticket (i.e., to set needinfo)
3) See the reporter's email to the right of need info (The owner will change to username@example.com)
Expected results:
1) Create a new ticket using an email instead of a username (i.e., when not logged in)
2) Modify the ticket (i.e., to set needinfo)
3) See the reporter's email username to the right of need info (The owner will change to username@)
Note: This ticket was deliberately created with an email so that it can be easily tested against.

Yes, thought first it might depend on user rights but after logging out and being "anonymous" I still got the complete email address displayed.

That's documented on WikiStart and nothing I can do here about it. The e-mail protection is not working against determined scrapers. That would need a new system which replaces the addresses with an unique identifier in the Trac core.
Creating an account OTOH will protect mail.
