#19318 closed defect (duplicate)

Keyboard shortcuts seem broken on Mac. Particular issue with zoom controls since mouse scroll wheel unusable due to sensitivity issues.

Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. View menu lists Zoom in and out as CMD+ and CMD-

What is the expected result?

map zooms in/out.

What happens instead?

Nothing.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible.

On Mac keyboard + is the 'shift entry from the = key. However in JOSM just hitting = zooms in.
However, the - key next to it has no impact with any modifier.

CMD Shift = (ie CMD+) and CMD - register as keyboard shortcut (the correct item in the view menu flashes) but there is no change in the zoom level of the map.

Clicking on those items with the mouse DOES change the zoom level

As with the mouse wheel sensitivity issue this is real issue for productivity - it makes using the app much slower.

Is it feasible to set the "Zoom steps to get double scale" to 5 by default on macOS?
