wikipedia tag false positive

Hi

JOSM (15155) validator is flagging such wikipedia tags like LG:Value as error:

wikipedia=de:Deutschland, wikipedia=en:Canada and many, many more.

I think it'a a validator error which must be quite new. This was never ever flagged before some days/weeks

Disabled wikipedia plugin (1.1.1) - and the problem is gone.

@Kulumbus: Same problem has been sent by another user - therefore the problem exists.

try ​https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=19/47.58994/7.58889 and you should see 27 errors.

Of course wikipedia plugin has to be enabled.

I think it is a problem with the cache of the wikiplugin.

I had the same problem and reinstalled the plugin. this did nothing.

But when I remove the josm cache folder the problem was gone.

So, I think there is a problem that causes the cache to be invalid.

Have deleted in cache C:\Users\......\AppData\Local\JOSM\cache\plugin\wikipedia only the wikipedia folder...
restart josm 15238 no error anymore. validator do not controle it. fast popup .. could not read it all.
When shift F1 see in log - W: The JSON response from the Wikidata Action API can't be decoded!: com.fasterxml.jackson.core.JsonParseException: Unexpected character ('<' (code 60)): expected a valid value (number, String, array, object, 'true', 'false' or 'null')

Just tracked back the cause and the problem comes from Wikipedia API. It returns HTML instead of JSON, more precisely the API main page which you can see here: ​https://www.wikidata.org/w/api.php

I don't know yet why does it, but maybe it helps others to investigate.

The Unexpected character ('<') is probably one of the HTML opening tags.
