It seems there is not much the user can do with any GPX points.
E.g., one loads
​http://radioscanningtw.jidanni.org/images/radioscanningtw/maps/TaiwanAMFMSW.gpx.gz
and one cannot select any points nor is there any way to convert them into points.
The user can only just look at them on the screen.

You can convert this file in JOSM to a osm data layer via the context menu of the layer, see Help/Menu/Marker. Also you can adjust, which attributes were converted into osm tags, see Help/Action/ConvertToDataLayer
