Join node to way doesn't move node

The "Join node to way" tool leaves the node at its current position instead of moving it into the way. While this can be desirable in some cases, it would be nice to have an option to move the node so that it is aligned with the neighbouring nodes, thereby keeping the way segment straight. This new feature would basically be a shortcut for "join node to way" followed by "align nodes in line".

The old functionality must still be kept, because there are cases where the node is not to be moved, and it is impossible to recover the old position exactly once it has been aligned.

I think the current behaviour is better than your new suggestion. If you want aligned nodes, than align them first before joining.

Allowing "Align nodes in line" to accept only one node(*) (if it's only contained in one way) would solve 90% of the cases this behavior annoys me.

(*) Would work as if the next and previous node were selected too

Just for information: Today these operations are implemented, so solution could be changed from "wontfix" to "fixed".

Since #4550: "N" will move node onto nearest way and add the node to that way.

Since #5724: "M" will merge node to the nearest other node.

In both cases the way will stray "strait".
