A JOSM warning incorrectly says "wood=deciduous is deprecated; use leaf_type=broadleaved instead".

Description

"deciduous" refers to leaf_cycle, not leaf_type.

What should happen with previously mapped wood=deciduous tags is that local mappers review the objects affected and add appropriate leaf_type and leaf_cycle tags. Often deciduous trees (especially northern temperate deciduous trees) are are broadleaved, but always, for example ​https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larch .

The ​proposal once suggested this transition, but you are right this seems not to be a safe autofix.
