Download/Areas around places - API bad request / area too large

Description

Hi,

searched "Laupheim", hit Download and got an error message. Is there a possibility to specify the size of the "area around place" to be donwloaded or to switch to slippy map view after the place is found in the list?

found that when activating the Download dialog again I can switch to the slippy map tab and it will display the wanted area_:)

The error message could mention that as it is quite helpful.

Status: new → closed

The example you have is rejected in an unpredictable way by the server (probably due to a lot of data in that area). It is more obvious when you e.g. try "Deutschland". There you get in red a warning that area is to big and it's more natural to try to click on the map to change size.

Change Properties
Set your email in Preferences
Action
as closed The owner will remain team.
as The resolution will be set.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.

Add Comment
E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences .
