Description
Usually I edit areas located in Poland so I have set EPSG:2180 projection in JOSM (ver. 10168) and remote control works as expected. Today I wanted to edit this area http://www.openstreetmap.org/?mlat=25.006944&mlon=121.485833&zoom=12#map=18/25.00901/121.48927 and when I clicked "Edit with Remote Control" in Firefox, JOSM showed standard "Connecting to server" message box but no data was loaded. When I changed projection to EPSG:4326 (WGS84) everything went fine. IMO a message box informing that a given projection is not supported on a given area would be useful.

I cannot reproduce. Could it have been a temporary internet connection problem or short outage/overload of the OSM API?
