Current "simplify way" Shift+Y is primitive compared to simplification steps in Fast Draw and other tools

Help/Action/FastDrawingMode

Fast Draw code will be complex to refactor/split (reading wiki page first would help), but we need a tool that can give configurable node count as result.

It is impossible to use simplification mode from fast draw on regular JOSM objects.

Shift+Y misses:

  • use of keys instead of using AS each time you use this tool
  • "fixed points", "don't touch these nodes"

Other users seem to prefer SimplifyArea as tool to simplify ways...

Shif+Y tool could be extended with modes.

PS> Shortcut could be changed to ending with ...+S - "simplify"
