Rectangular buildings appear skewed, round buildings become somewhat slanted ovals

Hi,

We have a mapper who is creating buildings. He uses q to make them rectangular and Shift-O to make them round, then uploads.

When we go to have a look, we see this:

When he redownloads, he also sees them like that.

His projection is set to the same as ours. Mercator EPSG:3857.
