Description
Could JOSM validator warn when nodes have been moved by the user by a large distance? E.g. in kilometers.
See http://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewtopic.php?id=30938 for a real example.
Would such a test be possible an useful?

Yeah, sorry, I was looking for dupes, but that title didn't struck me as being it :)

When the result is a distorted geometry there is now a warning in r8320.
Simple moving far away is not warned, as I currently see no way how that could be done without a popup.

Something like the warning when moving 20+ nodes would probably be appropriate.

Is there also a typo in the string "This for long way segements, which are usually errors.". Should the leading "This" be "Test" or similar?

Thank you I have created a new bug report #14708 instead, this one is closed for 2 years now.
See #11215.
Suggestion is to add a validator test warning for single segment length bigger than 0.3 degree.
