Tab icons in preference menu too small

After the recent redesign (generally great btw) the tab icons in the preferences menu are now very small and almost not recognizable. I suggest to enlarge them (e.g. 200%)

before the report, a short explaination:
The main reason I am a bit reluctant in posting the status report is that there is private data included, stuff like download.places.history, 32 times my local username, file-open.history, org.openstreetmap.josm.gui.download.DownloadObjectDialog.primitivesHistory, reverter.ChangesetIdQuery.changesetsHistory,
search.history, imagery.entries,imagery.offsets and maybe more, that would only sometimes be disclosed if you decide to upload something.

I don't care about the preferences (I have edited your post to remove them) but I need to know the first three blocks. If you had read what I have written on "newticket" page and used the dedicated feature to report bugs, you wouldn't had to manually copy the report and remove yourself the info you didn't want to share because JOSM does only copy the first three blocks (#10484 has been closed for this reason).

I understand now you're talking about the preferences dialog on OS X. As mentioned in #10455 (point 7) I am not able to fix this, it's an intentional behaviour of the Aqua look and feel we can't change. See #7548 for a future rework of the preferences dialog that may "fix" it (but not tested => no promises).

By the way you should update to Java 8u20 as it contains a lot of bugfixes for OS X.
