Search/find object role inside relations

Reported by: naoliv Owned by: team
Priority: normal Milestone: 15.10
Component: Core Version:
Keywords: search relation role Cc:

Could JOSM also search/find relations having objects with a specific role?
For example, I would like to search for relations that have an object with admin_centre role.

Keywords: search relation role added

Milestone: 15.10

See #11916 for the possibility to use MapCSS in search.

Shall we still add separate keywords like hasrole: (this relation has a member of role) and isrole: (primitive is part of relation w/ role)?

Would be nice to have hasrole: and isrole: (or similar classes/selectors) and use them to validate data.

For validation with MapCSS, you can already use roles in child/parent selectors relation >[role=stop] node.
