Description
We were looking for a good translation for "Place name" in the address preset on the German forum ( http://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewtopic.php?pid=447618 ). It was noted that it might be good to also show what tag / key any entry field corresponds to. This would be welcome by power users, but it might also teach new users which tags are used for what purpose, especially if the user is not good with English. If a German wants to tag an address with "Ortsteil", he would see that "addr:suburb" is the key for that.
Only showing the keys like the House Number Editor (Housenumbertaggingtool?) does is not good since some tags may not be very clear.
So how could we show both a short explanation and the actual key / value with consistency for all dialogues?
Some ideas:
- Description, key (in parentheses or grey), entry box
- may get a bit long in some cases
- Description, entry box, newline, key (smaller font)
- adds vertical space
- key, entry box with description in it (in grey)
- no extra space needed
What do you think?

Wow, that is extremely cool :) I like it a lot, also that the hint reappears when you delete an entry.
I first proposed that the key is outside the box and the description inside, but this works as well or even better.

Good idea and I'd clearly vote for this one. Not sure if it's easily possible, though.
