Description
It would be very helpful if josm could print the visible area with inverted colors (or later with a special styleset for printing)
These printed maps are nice walkingpapers. We use screenshots and invert the colors to use them for offroad-mapping
The official walkingpapers do not help in that case.

P.S. When properly done we may consider switching the internal style away from the black background.

Changing styles is atm more work, than screenshot + invert & print.

You can create a custom style which uses inverted colors and setup a different background color. When you release this on the styles page others can use this also. There have been multiple requests for different styles already. All of these can be done without needing any support from josm programmers.
