A checklist to release a new tested version.
- Update the preset language wiki links with the script (not high priority, can be omitted)
- Do a last translation update
- Get the latest built version number
- Update TestedVersion (write the version also in edit comment, see here)
- Fill Changelog
- Update StartupPageSource (if necessary)
- Mark milestone complete
- Announce at josm-dev@… (if necessary)
- Update https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/JOSM
- Update https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JOSM
- Update https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q12877
- https://www.archlinux.org/packages/community/any/josm/ – Flag Package Out-of-Date
