Error during application startup after a restart

Description
Steps to reproduce
- Start JOSM via josm.jnlp
- Choose Restart option from File menu
- Application closes
- During startup Application Error is displayed "Unable to launch the application"
Desired behaviour
- Application starts again without any error

Could you please attach your status report (help / status report), tell us if you have recently switched to java 7, and if you have different versions of java installed ?

Today I have started JOSM for the first time ever :) using https://josm.openstreetmap.de/download/josm.jnlp link. After successful start I made some changes in preferences and decided to restart the application to apply them. JOSM did not start and displayed the error message. I have been using Java 7 since a while.
I see that there is no problem with application restart when I use a desktop shortcut to start it.

Java bug. Try to clear the Java cache (everything) as described here: https://www.java.com/en/download/help/plugin_cache.xml
