a converted gpx layer's name is changed by an attempt to save (save was cancelled)

tested with version 6763

steps: open a gpx trace, convert to data layer, click the save button in symbols bar, (new popup window: gpx save ...) hit cancel. Name in layer manager changes to the orignal gpx name. I would expext the layer being named as before ("Konvertiert von: ...") as it is still a data layer.

interestingly this seems to only happen for local gpx files. If the gpx is opened from an URL (e.g. ​http://www.openstreetmap.org/trace/1350010/data ) it saves into a data file.

if you use "export to gpx" instead of "save" it does not trigger the bug.

Maybe this is related to bug #9012.
