Description
This is useful mainly for newbies unable to guess why program is unresponsive, so disabling it by default seems to be a poor idea.

Sorry, I don't find the autosave makes JOSM unresponsive enough to annoy all current users with a new notification that doesn't really bring much.
This notification is here for those who want it, but I don't think the majority needs it.
