#8777 closed defect (fixed)

Have to Click on tag in relation editor to enter text

Description

Currently Using JOSM 5990 on Ubuntu Gnome Edition (Java 7)

Before updating to both Java 7 & the current version, when editing a relation I could add additional tags simply by typing 'type' then hitting enter, typing 'multipolygon' hitting enter, etc

In the current version I must click on every single cell in order to type in it. If I type without first clicking on the cell, the focus seems to switch to the map window in the background and each letter I type acts as a shortcut instead of typing in the cell

Replying to Don-vip:

@skyper: are you seeing this also with gnome 3 ?

No, but I have a new focus loss when hitting on the "plus" button to enter a new tag. Focus used to be in the new key field but now it is nowhere and I have to click on the field or use quite some TABs.

EDT: Java Version does not matter, tested with r5999
