Have a look at the external "Steps properties" preset for the tags. Rendering is the heavy task.

Added ramp and handrail to steps preset. I think rendering is not suitable for the default style.
A separate style would be nice.
The "Wheelchair Routing Attributes" already renders incline, handrail and ramp:stroller.
You can also create your own mapcss style. It is not that hard. See Styles and Help/Styles/MapCSSImplementation (e.g. look for left-casing and right-casing)

Replying to Klumbumbus:

There are now atleast two style, which render incline:
- Styles/Incline
- Wheelchair Routing Attributes
Have a look at the "steps properties" preset for the preset part. If it is only a ramp you should use
incline
with ahighway=
. Do you need anything else ?Rendering is the heavier task. We would need to differ between step with ramps and without it and design an incline rendering.
