I could not find the similar open ticket, so created this one.

If something small can be improved in preferences GUI without rebuilding it completely (see #7548), I propose to post it here.

For example, some preferences are really hard to find, similar questions on the forum appear, or some useful advanced option need to be shown as checkboxes, or something does not fin on small screen, bad grammar in options name etc.

For example, I was asked on Russian Forum by Wowik to improve structure of OSM Data tab in Display Settings Dialog
(line-drawing preferences were mixed with all other types).

If some spelling errors or GUI bad design appear, fell free to fix it or post a request here.

Let us collect extra advices concerning preferences dialog here and then close the ticked (in 1-2 weeks).

Status: new → closed

Modify Ticket

Change Properties
Set your email in Preferences
Action
as closed The owner will remain team.
as The resolution will be set.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.

Add Comment
E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences .
