Custom Markers

It would be really useful to have custom markers and/or annotations that is only part of the "editing phase" of the map. It should thus not get committed back to the OSM database but only act as an aide to mapping.

Choose whatever tag you want for this, like "mytext_ggeldenhuis=my marker".

• Add the tag to "tags.discardable", so it wont get uploaded

• Add the tag to "mappaint.nameOrder", so it is displayed in map

or

• Make a private style showing your tag

NOTE, that changes to existing objects will be uploaded empty if they consist only of your own tag (i.e. you modify history without any changes). To prevent that remove you own tag from all objects before upload and use the "Update Modified" function in menu.
