Description
When opening files with the Open... menu item I cannot see directories in the file browser containing the swedish characters å, ä or ö nor can I drag and drop the files without getting the message "No such file or directory".
Running JOSM 5570 and 5531 on Mac OS X 10.7.5 with Java 1.7.0_09.
Test case:
- Having a directory called "test JOSM" with a gpx-file in it.
- Draging the file to the JOSM window works and the file is opened.
- Opening the file via the menu works as expected
- Rename the directory to "test JOSM åäö"
- Drag the file to the window gives the error message "No such file or directory"
- Opening the file via the menu does not work as the directory "test JOSM åäö" cannot be found!

Works fine on my (non-mac) machine.
It clearly appears to be an Apple-implementation-specific Java bug, there is nothing we can do on JOSM side. Please open a bug on Oracle bugtracker (http://bugreport.sun.com/bugreport) if you want to see it fixed in future Java releases.
In the meantime, you will have to rename your folders to remove swedish characters.
Thanks for reporting the bug, though :)

Just noticed that it works on the same machine using Java 1.6.0_37 so this clearly is not a JOSM bug (as noted).
