latitude problem for south-west areas — at Version 1

Hi,
trying to copy/paste a permalink from osm to josm data download dialog results in a download error message: "The latitudes must be between -90 and 90, longitudes between -180 and 180 and the minima must be less than the maxima."
example region: http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=-11.1945&lon=-65.6776&zoom=13&layers=M
- copy the link to clipboard (ctrl-c)
- open download window (coordinates) (ctrl-shift-D)
- paste link (ctrl-v)
- press download button
- error
swapping "min lat" and "max lat" by hand helps out ...
used: josm 4729 on windows xp
