Download GPX traces with Ctrl+L

Description
A user can download osm data with "Open location" dialog (Ctrl+L), entering a URL. This window should also accept gpx url, for example, http://www.openstreetmap.org/trace/1119288/data

I was thinking about this. The "Open location" should behave as the "Open File " dialog. Do not assume the location points to OSM data, but rather ask to several importers if they can handle the data (via requested URL + MIME type returned).
This would allow OSM, GPX, changesets, the JOSM "Maps" list, PBF files...
