Disabled toggle buttons should not occupy space

Description
To reproduce:
- In the toggle buttons bar, press ">>" (last icon)
- This opens a menu that allows to show/hide buttons
- Hide some buttons
Actual result:
- Buttons disappear and an empty space is displayed in their place
Expcted result:
- Compress the buttons so that they fit well
When some plugins are installed, I need to scroll this button bar up&down to access the buttons, on my 1920x1080 23" monitor.
Version 4064
OS: Mandriva 2010.2, KDE 4.

The problem appears with GTK+ Look and Feel setting. There is no problem if I change to Metal.
