While in OSM tagging is officially never wrong ...

The presets in JOSM have sport=sports_centre and sport=golf_course. If you look at the rendering rules for Mapnik and T@H and in the OSM wiki, then this should be leisure= for both. The sport= tag is only used for the actual sports, not for their facilities.

The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.
