Hi,

maybe it's possible to provide for the josm-latest.jar/josm-tested.jar/josm-setup.exe/josm-macosx.zip files md5 (or sha1) checksums so that downloads could be checked automatically in addition to "​http://josm.openstreetmap.de/version"?

Status: new → closed

The files are digitally signed. You can e.g. use jarsigner to test signature.

Mmh, ok. But then it should be documented somewhere in the wiki because jar-signing is - in comparison to Md5- rather unusual.
