Imagery: SlippyMap/TMS works only with PNG tiles, no more JPG

Description

With the old SlippyMap plugin it was possible to specify that a tile source was providing JPG tiles:

slippymap.custom_tile_source_2.ext=jpg

Since the WMS, Imagery, and SlippyMap plugin were combined and added to the core, the default is set to PNG tiles, and there seems to be no way to change that anymore.

Please bring back the JPG tiles! Thank you.

I assume you need to read Maps, especially the last chapter.

Action
as closed The owner will remain Shernott.
as The resolution will be set.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.

Add Comment
