#5819 closed defect (fixed)

Imagery/Bing: low resolution tiles in mixed resolution areas aren't displayed

Reported by: Cobra Owned by: Cobra
Priority: normal Milestone: 15.05
Component: Core imagery Version: latest
Keywords: bing zoom tile Cc:

Description (last modified by Don-vip)

When loading Bing imagery at the border of higher resolution and lower resolution images the maximum zoomlevel is set according to the area with higher resolution imagery. This is working correctly for the HiRes area but the LoRes area will have blank tiles saying "Error: No tiles at this zoomlevel":

This happens only when there is a part of the HiRes area visible, i.e. only in mixed resolution areas like this one.

As I was lately testing the TMS layer, I've seen mixed zoom levels on one screen instead of "no tiles at this zoom level".

Can you please check, if the problem still persists?
