Description
Just wanted you to know that this feature isn't working at all here on my system since it was added in [3710/josm]. All I have that shows up in that menu is "Clear", and it's grayed out. I haven't been able to get it to work at all in any version up to and including the most recent 3721.
Windows 7 x64
JOSM 3721
Java 1.6.0_23 x64

No, to open files. Do you click File > Open..., then select a file (e.g. *.gpx or *.osm) and it still does not have these files in the list?
Btw., it does not work (yet) for files that you just saved, you have to actually open them.

I just tested the "File > Open" and it does save the file in the Recent list.
Also, will it in the future save in the "open recent" list when you double click on a file on your, say, Desktop, and have it directly open JOSM that way?

Do you open by command line or using the menu?
