Add correct segment of split way in turn restriction

The ability to split ways in the turn restriction plugin is very neat and easy to use. However, it seems as if the plugin does not take the restriction type into account when choosing which of the two parts of the split way to add the relation.

At the moment it may leave broken relations when you add a "no_right_turn" restriction, but it adds e.g. the left part of the way to the relation.

I don't understand you description. JOSM always leaves the waypart which is connected with the via-node. It does not need to care for the relation type.
