"Preset" translation in French

Reported by: echokilo17@… Owned by: team

Component: Core Version:

Description

The word "preset" is either not correctly or not translated at all in French, changing the meaning of the sentence. Some examples, with the original English string, the current French translation, and the re-translation into English so that you can see the difference in meaning:

  • Key {0} not in presets.
  • La clé "{0}" ne fait pas partie des balises.
  • The key "{0}" is not part of the tags.
  • Validate that property values are valid checking against presets.
  • Valider les valeurs de propriété avec les balises.
  • Validate the property values with the tags.
  • Presets do not contain property key
  • Les balises ne contiennent pas de clé de propriété
  • The tags don't contain any property key

Some strings use the words "pré-réglages" for "presets". I'm suggesting to use these words for all "presets".

You can go to launchpad and fix the texts there yourself. Nobody feels really responsible for french translation ATM.

OK, I thought about posting that in case someone was monitoring. Apparently not for fr translations then ;)

I'll change that in LP.

BTW: There are 162 missing strings for French as well. They would be happy to be translated by you :-)

Hehe, I had already started translating some. Will continue progressively.
