Description

Version: 3329

Steps to reproduce:

  • make a polygon
  • tag it landuse=wood
  • the polygon apperance stays gray line with no filling.

Expected behavior

  • the polygon is filled with the "wood" color and the line color is changed to some green shade.

Please explain better. You also need to set type=multipolygon. Or do you talk about a plain area? Then i can't reproduce.

Hi,

I am talking about plain area. Tested again with both tested (3329) and latest (3334) and with deleting existing JOSM settings first.

See attached picture.
The three polygons from left to right are: natural=wood; landuse=forest; landuse=wood

Using WindowsXP, sp3

You can define your own style rule and add it to the default style. (And even add it to the public list of custom styles.)

There doesn't seem to be a community consensus on this tag, so I'm unsure if we should add it. Most likely someone types landuse=wood by accident, mixing up the normal tags in his head. Then it is good to have visual feedback for the error.

Allright, the landuse=wood wiki page is indeed marked for deletion.
