You're sure. Maybe it is not visible, but typing should work.

I am sure. Even more, there is some strange behaviour: TAB now changed completely the window out of the relation editor to another window in the same screen (but this wasn't reproducable). The problem persisted after moving the relation editor to the main screen: the next field (if I was on the right column there was a new line created as expected) gets highlighted (in my case blue) but is not ready for input (typing hasn't any effect).

Now I got the problem: the window (relation editor) looses focus. This doesn't happen for the main tags-window which works as expected.

Same happens on my Fedora 2.6.30.10-105.fc11.i586 / GNOME 2.26.3 box. Also applies to changeset-tag-editor in upload-box. Not only does the tag-editor loose focus; also the mousepointer is acutely moved over to right edge of screen. I guess this must be a bug in gui handling in GNOME (And possibly some constellation of JOSM code that triggers it).
