Description
For example, if you download http://osmxapi.hypercube.telascience.org/api/0.6/relation%5bis_in:county=Bergen,%20NJ%5d only some of the relations (those with place=city or locality) are shaded and labeled.

Sorry, the attachment:borough.png is useless (I previously thought of sth completely different).
If I understand correctly, this ticket is about adapting the internal style (elemstyles.xml). According to http://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/keys/?key=place#values, place=township is not very common (171 items worldwide). The tag place=borough is used 1223 times. None of them is listed in the Wiki.
Shall we them to elemstyles.xml?

In two years the usage of these tags did not increase, neither they became documented.



Add village to that list. Township and borough, both common forms of municipality n New Jersey, are not.
