Description

For example, if you download ​http://osmxapi.hypercube.telascience.org/api/0.6/relation%5bis_in:county=Bergen,%20NJ%5d only some of the relations (those with place=city or locality) are shaded and labeled.

Add village to that list. Township and borough, both common forms of municipality n New Jersey, are not.

Sorry, the attachment:borough.png​ is useless (I previously thought of sth completely different).

If I understand correctly, this ticket is about adapting the internal style (elemstyles.xml). According to ​http://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/keys/?key=place#values, place=township is not very common (171 items worldwide). The tag place=borough is used 1223 times. None of them is listed in the Wiki.

Shall we them to elemstyles.xml?

Status: new → closed

In two years the usage of these tags did not increase, neither they became documented.
