Hello,
I am using JOSM version 3094.
In the relation editor, clicking on the "name" field several times will replace "name" by "name:botanical".
You can experiment on relation id 8646 for example.
Once this "name:botanical" is uploaded, I could not find how to revert back with JOSM.

I could not reproduce that in r4348. In addition, I could not find anything in the source code that could cause this behaviour (searching for botanical in the source code).
Did you e.g. accidentally hit the middle mouse button on Linux, which would paste the text which was highlighted previously?
