Description
When I select objects and inadvertently move them, and I Undo that move, the objects are deselected. This is slightly annoying when I've just painstakingly selected those objects (see #3910).
Could it be made that it doesn't deselect objects on Undo?

Are you nutHHHmissing the point here?
"When I select dozens of objects *by* *hand*, and inadvertently ...." The rest is as I wrote above.
The selection history is wonderful, and I fully use it whenever I can, but that feature is really not the point here.
But don't worry, this got fixed a while back. Undo doesn't deselect objects anymore.
Now, if you really want to be helpful, expand on the help page you linked, and actually tell us, lowly mappers, that the history is there, and how it can be used to our advantage.

If you use that feature, you already know how it works, so you can improve the help page yourself. You don't need to be a programmer to improve help texts.
For this, there is the selection history.
See Help/Dialog/SelectionList
(This was discussed enough in some other ticket, I don't find it right now.)
