New "Update plugins" dialog is confusing

Description
The new "Update plugins" dialog is confusing. It says I upgraded JOSM and asks me if I want to upgrade its plugins. Then it has a checkbox saying "Don't show this dialog again".
What does that entail? Will JOSM automatically do plugin updates on startup if I check it or will it automatically skip the dialog?
The checkbox message should be changed to reflect what future actions JOSM will take.

What improvements do you suggest?
That the dialog explicitly indicates what will happen in the future if you skip it.
I thought it would do automatic updates always since "Update" looked like the default action.

I thought that was clear. "Don't show this dialog again" always means this. I.e. next time you wont get asked and thus also no updates are done.
This is established behaviour of this "Don't show me again" on all systems I know of.
What improvements do you suggest?
